The Big Endeavour! Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13, 2012 to assist with Mission 26, as Space Shuttle Endeavour travels through city streets on a 12-mile journey from LAX to its final home at the California Science Center. This will be the first, last and only time a space shuttle travels through public city streets. As Endeavour makes the final journey to Exposition Park, volunteer opportunities are available to assist along the shuttle’s route. Volunteers must be age 16 & older.

Over 500 volunteers are needed to assist with guest ushering, crowd control, providing information, safe guarding of shuttle holding areas along the route and other duties as needed. Volunteers must be in good physical health & able to stand for long periods of time. Volunteer shifts are 4-5 hours in length. Please join us for this memorable volunteer opportunity!
