Scholarships Available in 2008
Each year, the SCAA awards scholarships to students who are working toward careers in aviation or aerospace. These are in two categories: (1) for high school students who are nearing graduation and expect to continue their studies in a recognized college or university, and (2) for students already enrolled in a college or university.
Details of each category of scholarships are explained in the two bulletins as attached here. As indicated, deadline for submitting applications in 2008 is July 15. The bulletins can be printed out and sent to SCAA's scholarships chairman, John Durant, along with supporting documents as outlined in the bulletins. Note that the bulletins list a telephone number and e-mail address for Mr. Durant, to be used by anyone who wishes to ask questions.
