Angelina Marie Walsh
Angelina is an Aerospace Engineering student at UC Irvine, graduating in 2027, and a Dean’s Honors List recipient in the Campuswide Honors Collegium. As a Propulsion & Applications Engineer with the UCI Rocket Project Liquids team, she supports their goal of breaking the collegiate methalox altitude world record—optimizing injector geometry and helping secure more than $17,000 in sponsorships. She also serves as Lead Fuselage Engineer on a WWI aircraft restoration project at the Flying Leathernecks Aviation Museum, directing structural reconstruction alongside preservation specialists. Angelina is a founding member of the Aero Club of Southern California’s Young Professionals Group (YPG) and serves as a CHC Honors Peer Mentor, supporting first-year students with connection-building and academic guidance. With experience spanning propulsion systems, structural design, and combustion research, she aims to advance aerospace technology and contribute to sustainable rocketry solutions.
