FAA Opens Applications for 2027 Gateways Internship Program

The Aero Club of Southern California is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for students interested in careers in aviation, aerospace, and public service.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is now accepting applications for its 2027 Gateways Internship Program, offering students paid, hands-on experience working alongside FAA professionals.

Interns may gain experience in a variety of disciplines, including aviation safety, engineering, information technology, business, finance, and public policy.

Program Highlights:

• Expected start date: May 30, 2027
• Paid, full-time internship opportunities
• Multiple locations nationwide, including El Segundo, California
• Open to eligible U.S. citizens enrolled at least half-time in a qualifying educational institution
