Jessi is a passionate educator who offers aviation and aerospace knowledge, experiences, and training to high school students. Originally from Ohio, Jessi earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 2009 and her master's in education from the University of Southern California in 2019. She spent the first five years of her teaching career supporting freshmen in English 9. With the support of Da Vinci Schools, Jessi earned her private pilot license in 2024. She now enjoys flying small planes all around the Southern California area. Additionally, Jessi earned her commercial drone operator’s license and advanced ground instructor certificate in 2025. In the 2025–26 school year, Jessi joined Da Vinci Connect High School to launch the Aviation pathway through a dual enrollment partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
