Denise Jennings retired in 2020 from a Marketing and Business Development career in the aviation industry.
In addition to her position as Secretary of the Aero Club of Southern CA, Denise maintains professional memberships in the Ninety-Nines, Inc., AOPA, EAA, and the Fullerton Airport Pilots Association. She is a pilot for LIGA International Flying Doctors of Mercy. Liga is a non-profit organization that flies medical personnel to two clinics in Sinaloa MX providing medical care and health education to the people in the region who otherwise would have no access to medical treatment.
Denise believes her passion for aviation was inherited from her father who flew the PB4Y (the Navy version of the B-24 Liberator) in WWII. It would be 19 years after he passed before Denise took her first flight lesson and was hooked. She holds an Instrument Rating with Commercial privileges and has been flying her Mooney 201 for over 30 years.
